Welcome! my name is James W Hopkins MSN RN PHN CEO of The Lifesaving Professionals LLC. I was born and raised in Missouri, in 2007 I moved to San Francisco, California.

I started in healthcare as an EMT in 1984. Following high school graduation, I worked as a volunteer EMT for an ambulance district. I started teaching BLS in 1985 I became an ACLS/ PALS instructor in 2000.

I have trained Doctors, Nurses, and community classes in basic and advanced training courses. I became an Instructor Trainer for BLS, ACLS,& PALS in 2000. Became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 1985 from South Central Career center West Pains Mo. Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in 1989 from Graff Vocational Technical School in Springfield Mo. is now known as Ozark Technical College.

I have been an RN Nurse Manager for ER /ICU and I have worked as a Director of Nursing. I was Medical Director for the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade for more than 20 years as a volunteer. I was Medical Director for Folsom Street Events working closely with the City and County of San Francisco Medical Director of EMS Services, SF Fire, SF Police, and other agencies for the EMS to be delivered during the events.

I really enjoy teaching others the skills and knowledge that I gained throughout the years of teaching. I have many repeat students that return every 2 years for recertification classes because of my teaching & training styles & methods.

I have taught classes for many larger companies and come highly recommended from them to other companies.

We teach American Heart Association ACLS, PALS & BLS Instructor Courses. ATEM, ASHI, Medic First Aid, EMS Safety classes & Instructor classes. 

We are an authorized AHA Training Site for BLS, PALS, ACLS & new ASLS ( Advanced Stroke Life Support).

I am designated AHA Course Director for all ACLS & PALS courses.

Part of the ENA’s Emergency Nurses Association, TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum) & EPNC (Emergency Pediatric Nurse Course).
